Kathy Quarnstrom has been in the travel business since 1983. She has been with ALCA Travel since day one and currently owns the agency. She takes care of the financial aspects of the business and occasionally handles groups and enjoys planning "bucket list" trips for clients. Her travels have taken her on several cruises, trips to Europe, Japan, China, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, Hawaii and various other United States cities. Her travel destination bucket list is long and she looks forward to adding to her traveled destination list. In her free time, she loves to cook, spend time with family, volunteer and travel!
Dawn Hanson joined ALCA Travel in 1991 after working at travel agencies in Moose Lake and Duluth early on in her travel career. Dawn enjoys working on trips that involve a challenge. Her travel ventures have taken her to Hawaii, skiing in Colorado, Disney World, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, San Antonio, San Diego, Key West, Alaska, Puerto Rico and her favorite being a trip to Vancouver Island. Dawn is very family orientated and enjoys family time, especially time with her grand kids, time at the cabin and fishing on the lake at Mille Lacs!
Susan Sparks started with ALCA Travel in 1995 as an intern after completing 1 year of travel school. She has been with the agency ever since! Susan specializes in working with couples to create that unforgettable destination wedding or honeymoon. Her travel experience includes various cruises and tours to Greece, Mexico, Caribbean, Costa Rica, Iceland, Florida including several trips to Disney World, and many other United States destinations. Susan's free time is spent enjoying activities with her family and friends and of course, traveling!
Karla Ramberg is the newest addition to our staff joining in 2003. Her travel career has consisted of a travel consultant since 1985 working at agencies in Lindstrom, North Branch and having a home-based agency for several years. She is very detail oriented and gives personalized service to each and every client. She has enjoyed trips to New Orleans, San Diego, Florida, Mackinaw Island, St. Louis, Memphis, Branson, Texas, Alaska, Chicago, the Caribbean and Mexico. Karla is an avid baseball fan and enjoys sports in general. She is a proud mother of 3, grandma of 5, and enjoys spending free time with her family!
